What to do when you’ve got a bunch of random ingredients in the house, but no idea what to make? Make a bread and egg breakfast bake!
Cornbread, cheese, and a little kick of spice. Cheesy Jalapeno Cornbread is perfect to eat alone, or as the perfect side for any meal. I love to eat it with my recipe for Sweet Potato Turkey Chili.
White Cheddar Rosemary Crackers are a fancy grown up version of Cheez-It. I love to make a big batch of these to snack on while binge watching my latest Netflix obsession.
‘Tis the season to keep eating treats, right? Chocolate Chip and Butterscotch Cookies are the perfect treats to keep around the house for yourself, or to bring to a post-holiday gathering. The recipe is a standard chocolate chip cookie recipe but with the addition of butterscotch chips. The butterscotch adds that buttery, brown sugar flavor to the cookies.

You’ve gotten your dad the same squid ink pasta and Lavazza coffee combo from Eataly the last five gift-giving occasions. (Ok, maybe that’s slightly specific to me.) It’s down to the wire. You’re going to Target because, duh, it’s Target. It requires a weekly trip. He loves his seafood pasta from the big city, but this repetitiveness is decreasing the thought in “it’s the thought that counts”. That’s where the dip sampler basket comes in. Kirsten and Burke got me one for my birthday this year, and I loved it. It was a gift that literally kept giving for weeks. Beyond the delight my taste buds experienced, Burke said it’s the most fun he’s ever had at Target, and I enjoyed regularly updating Kirsten and Burke on my favorites as I progressed through the dip basket.
The Target dip gift basket is a pretty simple concept. Pick out 6-12 dips, provide a variety of complementary chips/crackers and then put everything in a fun vessel. The key is balancing some trusty classics with more sassy, special occasion treats. Based on my experience, here are the dips I’d recommend putting in your gift basket, power ranked in order of preference.
It is nearly impossible to put into words how it feels to celebrate your wedding with everyone you love in one room. I am sure going to try, but all these photos will certainly do a better job. On September 30th, 2017 Burke and I got married. Surrounded by all our favorite people and with the help of many, many incredible vendors, we pulled it off. It truly was the #bestHAIRdayever!
