Happy belated 2017 everyone! We are a little over 2 weeks into the new year, and it is about time I post to Kitchen Curious and recap the highlights 2016.
2016 was quite the year for me. I finally stopped talking about creating a food blog and actually did it. It has been so fun and rewarding, but lots of work.
Burke and I decided to add a puppy to our little family and got Franklin, our French Bulldog.
And last, but certainly not least, we ended the year by getting engaged! Our engagement was perfect, complete with lots and lots of champagne on a snowy December day in Lincoln Park. You didn’t think I would write a post without a mention of drinks or food now did you?
So that is a brief update on what has been going on with me. I am slowly getting back to real life after the holiday season, and diving deep into wedding planning!
In 2017, expect more recipes, wedding updates and all of my kitchen curiosities!
